Richard G. Buch, MD

Board-Certified, Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Richard G. Buch graduated from the University of Illinois in 1982 and performed his internship and residency at Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He then completed fellowships in orthopedic oncology at George Washington University Medical Center, Washington Hospital Center and Children’s National Medical Center.

Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Buch is a licensed physician in Texas with practices at Frisco Orthopedic and Sports Medicine and Medical City Hospital in Dallas. With a reputation for compassionate, personalized care and highly-skilled expertise, he was named by D Magazine as one of the top 100 Dallas physicians.

Dr. Buch has performed thousands of primary and revision joint replacement surgeries using only the most advanced implants available. In addition, he is actively engaged in bone and joint investigative studies, as well as researching and writing numerous reports that have been widely published in medical and orthopedic journals. He is affiliated with the American College of Surgeons, Dallas County Medical Society, Southern Orthopedic Association, Texas Orthopedic Association and the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society.
